Wild Bells — Children’s Day Visit Agreement

Wild Bells ordinarily operates as an adults-only campsite and has not been comprehensively adapted or childproofed. Exceptional permission is granted for children to attend as day visitors during the dates and times agreed with the campsite operator and landowner subject .

Children are not permitted to stay overnight and must leave Wild Bells and the wider site by 8:00pm each day.

Please complete this form in advance for each day children will be visiting the site.

Lead booker’s responsibility

As lead booker, you accept responsibility for ensuring that every member of your party complies with this agreement.

You confirm that:

  • Each child’s parent or legal guardian has authorised the child’s attendance and has been given the information and restrictions contained in this agreement.

  • At least two responsible and sober adults will remain present throughout the children’s visit.

  • Children will be continuously supervised at a ratio of no fewer than one responsible adult for every four children.

  • The supervising adults will hold and be able to act upon any medical, allergy, mobility, behavioural and emergency-contact information required to supervise the children safely.

  • No supervising adult will become impaired by alcohol, drugs or any other substance while responsible for supervising children.

  • Wild Bells, its operator and the other Swillington parties do not provide childcare, supervision or lifeguarding.

Site information and restrictions

Wild Bells is an outdoor campsite containing uneven ground, tent pegs, guy ropes, trailers, equipment and other normal outdoor hazards. It is located close to open water and the separate Swillington Wilds adults-only swimming site.

You must ensure that:

  • Children remain within the defined Wild Bells campsite boundary at all times.

  • Children and accompanying guests do not enter or approach any lake, lakeside area, swimming area,, sauna or waterside facility.

  • Children and accompanying guests do not enter Swillington Wilds.

  • Children do not enter the bell tents or kitchen trailer.

  • The fire pit is not lit or used and is not left burning while children are on site.

  • Children do not climb on or interfere with tents, guy ropes, pegs, fencing, trailers, trees, equipment or other structures.

  • Children do not wander elsewhere on Swillington Park or Swillington Organic Farm.

  • All children leave Wild Bells and the wider site no later than 8:00pm.

Conduct

You must ensure that your party:

  • Behaves safely and respectfully.

  • Complies immediately with reasonable instructions given by the campsite operator or its representatives.

  • Does not interfere with equipment, livestock, crops, wildlife or other property.

  • Keeps noise at a reasonable level so that neighbours and Swillington Wilds members are not disturbed.

Swillington Park Trading Ltd may withdraw permission and require any child or accompanying adult to leave immediately if these conditions are breached or their conduct creates a risk or unreasonable disturbance.

Loss, damage and liability

You accept responsibility for the conduct and supervision of the children and for ensuring compliance by your party.

You will be responsible for reasonable losses, damage, costs or claims incurred by Swillington Park Trading Ltd, Swillington Organic Farm Ltd, the owner or occupier of the relevant land, or their respective directors, employees or agents, to the extent caused by:

  • Your breach of this agreement.

  • The negligence or deliberate act of a member of your party.

  • Damage caused by a child under your party’s supervision.

Guests remain responsible for their own possessions.

Nothing in this agreement excludes or restricts any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the campsite operator, landowner, or their employees or agents.

Lead booker’s declaration

By submitting this form, you confirm that:

  • You are the lead booker and have authority to accept these conditions for the booking party.

  • Each child’s parent or legal guardian has authorised attendance after receiving the information and restrictions in this agreement.

  • You will ensure that the required supervision arrangements are maintained throughout the visit.

  • You will ensure that every child leaves Wild Bells and the wider site by 8:00pm.

  • You have read, understood and accepted this agreement.

  • You understand that this permission applies only to the dates and times recorded below.
